Traditional Majdoulle braided cheese in brine – the classic among oriental braided cheeses. ESMA Majdoulle braided cheese is hand-braided into characteristic plaits and pickled in aromatic brine. With 36% fat in dry matter, it is slightly lighter than Meshallal and has a fibrous, elastic texture with a mild, slightly salty taste.

Ideal for eating fresh, as a breakfast cheese, for mezze platters, or for grilling. Particularly popular in Levantine cuisine.
